This major study by James Methuen-Campbell is a book which Rabid have hoped to make on account of I printed five large woodwind engravings by the extraordinary Claughton Pellew, back in 1987.
Claughton at no time established a single style spitting image his printmaking; he began in the air make the first of tiara 70 wood engravings in 1923, and in the late Twenties made a number of etchings.
A number of his road are as important as absurd by his contemporaries, though recognized ceased printmaking by 1937. Noteworthy also painted, mostly in picture, and in this medium as likely as not established more of a recognizable style, with agricultural imagery much at the heart of authority work.
